Philosophy
I believe every experience, object, and entity exists to create change. I assemble clay and found objects until I am satisfied they can freely communicate their transformation. If my work can hold a person in a state of curiosity, even for only a few seconds, then I know the piece is truly finished.

My art style is mostly sculptural with an intentional one-of-a-kind mandate. I play with layering of colours and surface decoration to add depth and sophistication. Some work is unique and functional, while others are purely expressive imagery.

I teach both wheel throwing and hand building ceramics at a local community studio, and offer private lessons in my home when there's time. I can do commissioned pieces, custom work and am available to teach workshops.
